His biological father is Tōru Mori (森徹, Mori Tōru), a former professional baseball player. Throughout his career, he has used the aliases Shin Nemoto (根本清, Nemoto Shin), Inumakura (いぬまくら) and Urano Kantoku (浦野寛徳) (the latter meaning “director behind the scenes”).
